All investments undergo an environmental and social (E&S) impact assessment prior to funding, which forms the basis for E&S risk categorisation and the associated indicators monitored and reported. All impact data is based on investees’ self-measured and self-reported information. For direct investments, data is provided by the investee company. For retail finance portfolios, data is compiled and reported by the respective lending institution. Camco conducts quarterly reviews of this data and verifies its accuracy through periodic investee assessments. Depending on the outcomes of these reviews, onsite audits or external verification may be undertaken to ensure continued alignment with Camco’s standards and requirements. In 2025, three investments underwent third-party integrity reviews, and internal monitoring site visits were conducted at two sites.

In addition, FCCF is a signatory to the Operating Principles for Impact Management and therefore undergoes periodic independent verifications. A portfolio-level verification tool place is 2025 to ensure alignment with the Principles and to demonstrate the claims made in the Disclosure Statement. LMDF holds the LuxFLAG Microfinance Label, a three-year independent certification that confirms the fund’s strong transparency standards and alignment with LuxFLAG’s strict social, ESG and sustainability criteria.
